A Southern Ground Hornbill (Bucorvus leadbeateri) crosses the track at Kruger National Park in South Africa. This is the world's largest hornbill species. Unfortunately, this bird is listed as Endangered in South Africa (and Vulnerable to extinction by IUCN) due to habitat loss and very slow breeding cycle.
